About You

Someone who is excited by joining a small but rapidly expanding Company, you will thrive under pressure to do what needs to be done to deliver consistent sales results. You will be confident in building your own pipeline, selling complexed solutions and building lasting customer relationships. 

You will also have an interest in architecture, interior design and/or home improvement. You will be tech savvy and have a good understanding of CRM systems and managing your emails. You may have experience in selling bathrooms but if not, you will have the tenacity to do your homework to pick up the industry in lightning quick time and develop your own technical knowledge in addition to the training you will receive.   

But most importantly you will be a people person, a team player and someone motivated to be the best you can possibly be.

The Role

Location: Brentford Showroom (Find Us)

Salary: £25k per annum 

Job type: Permanent / Full-time 

Working Hours: 5 day weekly rota: 8-5pm Monday-Friday, 9-5pm Saturday

Leave Allowance: 22 days rising to 25 based on length of service

Key Aspects of the Role:

Trainee Design and Sales consultant will gain experience and knowledge of all aspects of Design and Sales consultant job position. You will be supported and supervised to learn all required skills for their future job role by doing different work duties. Your main goal is to promote the company’s products and services, while building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and delivering value by supporting other team members.. 

 

Core Duties:

Learning and training

  • Work with your colleagues and manager to develop your skills and knowledge as efficiently and quickly as possible in order to meet the requirements of a Design & Sales Consultant.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent product knowledge of our entire range of products.
  • Learn how to support customers developing new projects' design and assisting in visualising concepts utilising cutting-edge 3D and VR technologies.
  • Learn to use Company’s CRM and ERP system in accordance with the company guidelines to properly manage your pipeline and fulfil your reporting obligations.
  • Maintain and demonstrate a weekly diary of objectives and a daily plan to ensure that your time is managed efficiently.

Supporting Sales team

  • Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, “can do” attitude and passion for our product range.
  • As your knowledge and skills reach the appropriate level, provide support to the Design & Sales Consultants for key parts of their role
  • Be friendly first point of contact for customers visiting showrooms, meet walk-in traffic and gather information that will aid the Design & Sales Consultants
  • Develop a rapport with customers to understand their requirements, style and preference.
  • Provide support to your colleagues in collecting customer feedback, drive social media reviews and continually undertake market research for individual and company performance improvement.
  • Under the guidance of your colleagues, answer all online enquiries and gather sufficient information to prepare leads for the sales team.
  • Identify trade opportunities and use outbound calling and email to build a relationship and generate sales opportunities.
  • Utilise the resources provided by our Marketing department to develop and maintain an understanding of our perceived competitors and the wider bathroom industry, so that you can better position our proposition to our customers.
  • Ensure that all of your activities are carried out in line with all company procedures and processes.
  • Assist with product and content marketing activities with our ecommerce platforms, including, content and product updates, sales order processing and customer support.

Customer excellence

  • Ensure that customer service excellence is provided at all times.
  • Maintain a smart appearance at all times when in contact with customers.
  • Ensure showroom presentation is reflective of the high quality and standards of our product range and design.
  • Ensure that all communication is professional, polite and upholds our company values.
  • To enjoy what you do, share this enjoyment with others and be a positive role model for all of your colleagues.
  • Develop a rapport with customers to understand their requirements, style and preference.
  • Ensure that all orders are handed over to our After Sales team in accordance with the company process and customer care checklist.
  • Work in collaboration with the Aftersales team to understand and proactively improve any issues relating to customer experience and to drive improvements in our end-to-end process.
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time.
